City of fools

I passed through the strange city .I talked to a person who hold holy book and cap on his head well cleaned dressed . I asked that what city is this? ..he set his cap and reply me after cleaning his throat ..."you are new guy over here .you don't know how things are working here. You have to stay here cool and calm . don't ask any question here." He walked forward and offered me to go along with him .During walk he explained me about what things are available here. And how can I buy from here. ..City of Fools

Once upon a time, nestled in a valley rich with rivers, fertile soil, and an abundance of natural resources, lay the City of Fools. The land was bountiful, the sun shone generously, and the rain never failed. Yet, despite having everything needed to prosper, the people of the city lived in poverty and despair.

Why? Because instead of working with their own hands, they spent their days looking at the hands of others, waiting for help.

When the fields were ready for planting, the farmers gathered not to sow but to sit at the edge of their land, watching the road for a passing traveler who might give them food.
When the rivers were full of fish, the fishermen stood at the shore, gazing longingly at the boats of merchants, hoping for a gift of dried fish instead of casting their own nets.
When the forests overflowed with fruit, the people walked past the trees, sighing at their hunger, too lazy to reach up and pluck what was within arm’s reach.

One day, a wise traveler came upon the city and saw the people begging along the streets while their fields lay barren and their markets empty. He asked an old man, "Why do your people not work when you have all that you need to thrive?"

The old man sighed, "We have always lived this way. Why struggle when someone might come and give us what we need?"

The traveler shook his head and walked to the center of the town, where he climbed onto a well and called out, "Listen to me! You are not cursed by fate, nor abandoned by fortune. You have everything you need! If only you would use your hands for work instead of begging, you would become the richest city in the land!"

The people laughed. "Foolish traveler," they said, "why work when it is easier to wait for others to serve us?"

The traveler sighed, took his horse, and rode away, knowing that nothing would change. And so, the City of Fools remained the same—surrounded by riches but living in poverty, not because they lacked resources, but because they lacked the will to use them.

And so, the city waited. And waited. And waited…
